The English Language is always a work in progress and one must have fun with it.
‘English Language Fest’ was organized in Cambridge International School, Co-ed, Chotti Baradari, Jalandhar. It was a step to learn language skills and get better with each. Various activities like Show and Tell, Debate, One Act Play, Rendezvous with characters, etc were a part of this fest. Six schools falling under the umbrella of Learning Wings Education System (LWES), viz. Cambridge International School Foundation, CIS Phagwara, CIS Kapurthala, CIS Nawashaher, CIS for Girls and CIS Co-ed, sent their participant representatives.
From Cambridge International School, Phagwara, participants brought laurels to the school. Two students, namely, Sumer Singh Minhas and Pritansh Jain of Grade III and IV took part in the Rendezvous with characters. Four students of Grade VII, namely, Prerna Kamra, Alice Mann, Navreet Kaur and Sourab Gogna, participating in the One Act play, scored the 2nd position. The three students, Namridhi Jalota of Grade X, Gurleen Kaur of Grade IX and Simranjit Kaur of Grade XII, participated in Debate and bagged 2nd position.
Our students also enhanced the pride of the school by also winning the overall trophy of the competition. It was a great news for the school and worthy Principal, staff and management congratulated the winners and appreciated their hard work and talent which blended well into their success.
