Abundance of Books exhibited in Book Fair

Each book is one separate experience, one separate world. One cannot ever be lonely who has a passion to read. The benefits attached to this need no separate mention. They say that great readers can become great writers, great entrepreneurs, and great builders of the nation. Cambridge International School, Phagwara had one such motive in mind when a book fair was organized in school. The Cambridge family believes in what Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis writes that:

“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love of books is the best of all.”

The partner in making this happen was Scholastic Book Fair. The students were made aware of the importance of books. Each and every genre was put on display. Each age group was focused upon. Efficient help was lent by teachers who asked the students about their interests and recommended books to them accordingly. Seeing attractive books on display fascinated the students to the extent of ending up in buying them. The purpose was to make the students readers-by-habit.
By offering them a wide selection of books and related material through the school system, an opportunity was given to them to read by choice and not by compulsion. The purpose of making them want to read a book as a new experience was fulfilled.
