G.K. PRIZE TEST

“General Knowledge tests in schools are not just about assessing facts; they ignite curiosity, encourage lifelong learning, and prepare students to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.”


The General Knowledge (GK) Prize Test was organized at Cambridge International School, Phagwara with the aim of fostering awareness about current affairs, history, science, and general world knowledge among students. The test was conducted in two rounds: a preliminary round and a final round. Both rounds witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various classes. The preliminary round was held on 16th August 2024. This round involved a written test that covered a wide range of topics, including current affairs, history, geography, science, sports, and general trivia. The top scorers from each class advanced to the final round. The final round took place on 30th August 2024 and was designed to be more challenging.

This round delved deeper into current events, science innovations, historical facts, and global affairs, testing the students’ knowledge at a more advanced level.
At the conclusion of the final round, the top scorers were awarded certificates for their outstanding knowledge and performance.

The GK Paper Test was a successful event, engaging students in an academic challenge that not only tested their knowledge but also motivated them to stay informed and curious. The competition promoted healthy competition and instilled a sense of achievement among participants.
