Students scaled new heights at the Punjab Spell BEE Competition

Letter by letter forms a word and word by word a sentence. It is here where the correct foundation for a language lies. Spelling is a very important area to attain perfection on. Competitions enhance the ability to know, learn and retain more. Punjab Spell Bee competition was held at as well as organized by G.N.A University. A total of nineteen schools participated in this event, Cambridge International School, Phagwara, also being one of them. The students who took that step towards participation were Manvir Singh (+1 Medical), Manavjeet Singh(+1 Non-Medical), Jyotsna Prabhakar (+1 Non-Medical), Muskaan Kapoor (+2 Arts), Khushbu Sharma (+1 Medical) and Palika Budhiraja (+1 Humanities).

In order to stand apart as winners, the participants had to compete in three rounds. These included Preliminary Round, Semi-Final and Final Round. The two talented girls, Khushbu and Jyotsna, reached to the finale. They made everyone knowing them proud by winning the third position. They were bestowed with 21,000 cash prize and a certificate of participation. They were patted by Principal, Chairman as well as Managing Director for the great job done.
