School attains third position in quiz conducted by Reserve Bank of India

Students of Cambridge International School, Phagwara participated in quiz conducted by Reserve Bank of India on 20th August, 2014 in Jalandhar

The main objective of the quiz was to create awareness and interest in the young student community about banking and finance, the history and role of the RBI, other banking/ financial institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the growth and progress of India over the years.

Total 61 teams of students from class IX to XII from various schools participated in the event. After the written pre quarter final round, two students from Cambridge International School, Phagwara qualified for the final round on the stage.

After the nail biting finals, the School stood third. The winners were Adheesh Sindhwani and Harkamalpreet Kaur of class 11th

The national winners were given attractive prizes by the Reserve Bank Governor .The event would also be telecast on national television.
