Month of August, 2016: Cedar House as Incharge-on-Duty: Rakhi Making Competition

The responsibility of this month’s activities lay on the shoulders of Cedar House and it organized activities for the school. Keeping in mind the month and the festivals related to it, Rakhi Making competition was organized in the school auditorium on August 9, 2016. Students made beautiful rachis with amazing designs. This competition was for conducted for Grades IV to VIII. It was for a noble cause as the rakhis were sent to the army jawans of our country. It was a school’s was to be thankful to them. they have been brothers and kin who have always strived to protect the people. Our sincere gratitude was extended to them. The students also celebrated the 70th Independence Day on August 11, 2016 in school auditorium. Students showed their talent by taking part in songs, skit, dance, etc. Yoga was also performed on National Anthem. It was celebrated with full enthusiasm to commemorate the contribution of our great freedom fighters. Respected Principal Jorawar Singh addressed the students and gave the message to live together and peacefully.
