Cambridge International School witnesses its third Investitures Ceremony

Cambridge International School, witnessed its third formal Investitures Ceremony on 29th May, 2015, where the institution formally appointed the newly elected student council.

 

Chairman of the school, Mr.K, S. Bassi presided as the chief guest for the occasion.  The occasion became all the more special as it was also attended by Managing Director of the school Mr.K,S.Bains and Administrator Mr.Amarjit Singh.

The prestigious ceremony began with invoking god’s blessings, followed by  a small Video by the outgoing student Council.

The oath of allegiance and sashes were administered by the chief guest and Principal Mr.Jorawar Singh, where by the newly elected members promised to discharge their duties honestly, sincerely and to the best of their ability. They promised to take the school to newer heights and glory.

Madhav Gupta of class AS ( Non-Medical) was elected as the new Head Boy, Simranjit kaur of class 11 as the new Head Girl, Daksh Sehdev and TAnvir Kaur as House Captain Oak House, Jasgul Bambah and Inderpreet  as House Captain Pine House, Virtman and Srishtha as House Captain Maple House, Manveen and Jashandeep as House Captain Cedar House, , Gurmanpreet Kaur and Kunik Dhandha as Sports Captain. Harnoor and Paro, Sehaj and Sanya,Tarun and

Tanima,Raghan Chanana and Ishita,Manav Arora and Jyotsna,Sandeep Bhatti and Rupika were elected as Class Representatives of classes 6,7,8,9,10,11,CIE respectively.

Chairman Mr.K.S.Bassi congratulated the newly elected council advise them to be able leaders by developing leadership qualities.

Principal Mr.Jorawar Singh also congratulated the office bearers & held them to honour the responsibility and trust bestowed upon them and to become an example for the others to follow.

After the Principal's speech, the Outgoing Head Girl, proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme came to an end with the National Anthem.
